Icon Class ship will have 28 eateries and more than 20 bars and lounges
Royal Caribbean has unveiled two new restaurants and a Broadway musical set to debut on its latest Icon Class ship, Legend of the Seas.
Launching on its inaugural voyage on 11 July 2026, the ship will offer 28 dining venues and more than 20 bars, lounges and live music spots, spread across eight distinct “neighbourhoods”.
Entertainment highlights include the Broadway musical Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, making its debut at sea in the Royal Theatre, alongside new water and ice shows staged in the AquaDome and Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena at sea.
What’s new in dining
Dining debuts include the Hollywoodland Supper Club, a golden-age-of-Hollywood-inspired venue serving multiple courses with live jazz and cocktails, taking guests “through a journey of cinema”.
In addition, the Royal Railway – Legend Station is an immersive train car dining concept introduced on Utopia of the Seas that will offer passengers a five-course “expedition of flavours and history” along the Silk Routes using entertainment, food and technology.
Among Icon Class signatures, Legend of the Seas will also feature the AquaDome Market food hall with five new food stands and a juice and smoothie bar, plus classic favourites Chops Grille for premium steaks and Izumi Hibachi, serving fresh sushi and tableside teppanyaki.
Icon Class favourites return
The bar line‑up includes Lou’s with live jazz, Dueling Pianos for singalongs, and the 1400 Lobby Bar serving craft cocktails.
Family favourite attractions from Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas will also return, including Category 6 – the largest waterpark at sea – the Crown’s Edge skywalk and zip line, the Lost Dunes mini golf course and the Adrenaline Peak rock-climbing wall.

The ship will offer seven pools, from Water’s Edge – the largest at sea – to the adults‑only Hideaway infinity pool, plus the Swim & Tonic swim‑up bar and 10 whirlpools.
For family stays, there’s the redesigned three‑storey Ultimate Family Townhouse.
Royal Caribbean CEO Michael Bayley said: “With Legend of the Seas, we are bringing to life our most legendary vacation yet as we continue to push the boundaries with more of what guests know and love.
“Those looking to get the most out of their vacation can have it all with Legend’s combination of adventure‑packed experiences and incredible destinations in Europe and the Caribbean.”
In summer 2026, Legend of the Seas will sail seven‑night Western Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona and Civitavecchia (Rome), before moving to Fort Lauderdale in November for six‑night Western Caribbean and eight‑night Southern Caribbean voyages. These will include a stop at Royal Caribbean’s private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay.
