Luxury property introduces longevity hub and plant-based menus
Set on a rocky peninsula high above the French town of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in the Cote d’Azur, The Maybourne Riviera has reopened for summer 2025 with a new wellbeing and longevity hub alongside additions to its food and guest experience offerings, including plant-based menus.
The five-star hotel, which looks out over Monaco and the coast beyond, now includes Surrenne Riviera, a three-level wellness centre with treatment rooms and open-air fitness studios offering spectacular sea views.
This marks the second global location for Surrenne, following its debut at Maybourne Belgravia in London last year.
The facility blends science-based therapies and ancient traditions to deliver a highly bespoke and holistic approach to emotional wellbeing and physical health, offering tailored treatments and expert-led movement classes, from sunrise yoga to group spinning and Pilates classes.
Treatments range from massages, facials and advanced skin treatments to recovery therapies including red-light therapy, osteopathy and lymphatic drainage.

Dining options have expanded too with the arrival of internationally acclaimed Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s celebrated abc kitchens from New York, which brings an innovative plant-based menu to the property’s top floor.
Guests can dine on organic and ethically sourced local dishes and cocktails, while taking in panoramic views of Cap-Martin and Italy to the east and Monte Carlo to the west.
At the hotel’s private beach club, an outpost of Cannes’ La Môme Riviera has opened, serving Provençal and Italian dishes with live music and DJ sets.
What’s more, Dante Aperitivo will make its European debut with a summer residency. The New York bar, which was crowned World’s Best bar in 2019, will provide guests at The Maybourne with inventive cocktails that draw on Italian and American influences.
Michelin-lauded French Sébastien Tantot has taken over as executive chef, overseeing all dining venues, including the Riviera Restaurant, poolside La Piscine — now with a cigar lounge — and Le 300 Bar, which will feature guest mixologists throughout summer.
The hotel’s programme of guest experiences has also grown, with a focus on cultural immersion, offering activities such as watercolour workshops led by a local artist, food tours in seaside town Menton, local wine tastings and guided hikes along the Corbusier trail to Monaco.
Beyond the resort, guests can also explore Roquebrune’s medieval castle, ancient caves and Old Town with its 1000-year-old olive tree that still bears fruit.
