Janu Al Marjan Island marks second UAE launch for the lifestyle brand
Aman Group is expanding its contemporary luxury brand Janu with a new waterfront destination in Ras Al Khaimah. The launch of Janu Al Marjan Island marks the brand’s first property in the emirate and second in the UAE, following the upcoming Janu Dubai in DIFC, set to open in 2029.
Set on Ras Al Khaimah’s landmark Al Marjan Island, the development will feature a 132-key hotel designed by Singapore-based SCDA Architects.
Facilities will include the signature Janu Wellness Centre with a gym, yoga studio, hammam and banya steam bath, plus two restaurants, a mixology bar, nightlife venue and kids’ club.
Guests will also have access to a private beach, a pool and beach club.
Enhancing connectivity, a mooring point directly in front of the hotel will allow seamless access to nearby attractions including the island’s marina.

Next to the hotel, a residential tower will feature one- to five-bedroom Janu Residences and a selection of beachfront villas.
Commenting on the announcement, Aman Group Chairman and CEO Vlad Doronin said: “Janu Al Marjan Island will offer a vibrant setting where like-minded individuals can connect through shared experiences and embrace the brand’s spirited approach to connected living.
“Ras Al Khaimah is rapidly emerging as one of the Middle East’s most captivating destinations, making it the natural home for our next Janu property."
The launch comes amid major development on Al Marjan Island, home to upcoming projects such as Wynn Al Marjan Island – the UAE’s first casino resort – due to open in early 2027. Other key openings include Ennismore’s SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, slated for later this year, and forthcoming resorts from Four Seasons, Nobu Hotels, Fairmont, Taj and NH Collection.
Janu Al Marjan Island joins an expanding international portfolio for the brand, which debuted in Tokyo last year. Global projects in the pipeline include resorts in Dubai, the Turks and Caicos Islands and Saudi Arabia. Within the region, Aman is also preparing to open Aman Hegra in Saudi Arabia in 2026, followed by Janu Diriyah, with 2027 openings including Janu AlUla and Dubai’s first Aman Hotel on Jumeirah Beach.
