Domestic services to commence 1 March 2026
Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier Flyadeal is expanding its domestic network with the addition of three new routes from Madinah’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, its fourth and newest operational base.
Commencing 1 March 2026, the airline will introduce non-stop services to Jazan on the southwestern Red Sea coast, Qassim in central Saudi and Arar near the kingdom’s northern border. Fares will start from SAR199, with flights serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft featuring 186 economy seats in a three-by-three configuration.
The expansion will boost weekly flights from Madinah to 94 and grow the city’s network to 10 destinations. This includes domestic cities Abha, Al Hofuf, Dammam, Riyadh and Tabuk, alongside international routes to Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Cairo.

Commenting on the development, Steven Greenway, Chief Executive Officer at Flyadeal, said: “We increased our capacity by 40 per cent and are now adding a further three routes to quickly grow to 10 domestic and international destinations from Madinah that reflects our commitment to offer more choice and diversity.
“Our expanded schedule supplements flyadeal’s dedicated year-round Umrah and upcoming Hajj flights from several countries direct to Madinah.”
Globally, Flyadeal operates more than 30 seasonal and year-round routes across the Middle East, Africa, Europe and Asia. The airline aims to triple its network to more than 100 destinations and double its fleet to 100 aircraft by 2030.
These expansions come as Flyadeal saw record performance in 2025, carrying more than 10 million passengers, up by 33% from 2024. Seat capacity increased by more than 20% year-on-year, driven by a surge of pilgrims travelling for Hajj and Umrah.
