Renewed partnership to include new range of curated travel packages
Saudi-based travel company Almosafer is extending its partnership with VisitBritain to encourage more Saudi tourists to explore the UK.
Unveiled at the 2025 World Travel Market in London, the alliance builds on the two organisations’ ongoing collaboration to position Britain as a leading year-round destination for travellers from Saudi and the wider GCC region.
Oxford Economics data shows that Britain ranks among the top 10 destinations for Saudi travellers, with year-round demand. VisitBritain data shows a growing drive among GCC travellers to look beyond London, with increasing interest in countryside escapes, coastal towns, heritage sites, luxury experiences and filming locations.
As part of the extended alliance, Almosafer will curate a new portfolio of travel packages showcasing destinations across Britain offering tailored itineraries designed to highlight the country’s distinctive experiences.

Gary Robson, VisitBritain Director for Europe, Middle East & India, said: “Saudi travellers are among our highest-spending international visitors, and this collaboration is a valuable opportunity to deepen relationships in one of our key GCC markets.
“With enhanced airline connectivity and the Electronic Travel Authorisation scheme (ETA) making it easier than ever to visit, we look forward to welcoming even more Saudi visitors in the coming years.”
Latest data from VisitBritain forecasts 404,000 visits from Saudi Arabia to the UK in 2025, with Saudi visitors spending around £975 million (AED4.7 billion), marking a 26% increase from 2024.
Travel between the UK and Saudi Arabia is also becoming more accessible, with Saudi carrier Riyadh Air launching a daily service from King Khalid International Airport (RUH) to London Heathrow (LHR).
UK’s flag carrier British Airways is expanding services to Saudi Arabia as well. The airline will operate 12 weekly flights to Riyadh this winter, increasing the frequency to 14 flights per week by summer 2026.
Services on the London-Jeddah route will also grow to five weekly flights from next summer.
