Bahrain will be promoted on Wego’s marketing channels with the aim of converting searches to bookings
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and online travel marketplace Wego, have launched a campaign to drive tourism to the Gulf nation.
A leading platform in the MENA region, Wego will work closely with BTEA to attract more travellers to the country in line with the government’s strategy for 2026, which aims to bring more than 14.1 million tourists to the kingdom.
The campaign will shed light on the things to do in Bahrain as well as key areas to explore in the country for all types of travellers, including solo travellers, couples and families.

Wego chief commercial officer and managing director for MENA and India, Mamoun Hmedan commented: “We continue to partner with tourism boards to promote tourism recovery and attract more travellers to the destinations in the new norm in 2022.
