Property among first to implement new citywide tourism initiative
Address Downtown has introduced a fully integrated digital check-in experience, becoming one of the first luxury hotels in Dubai to implement the Dubai Digital Hotel initiative.
The government-backed programme, recently rolled out by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), aims to accelerate digital transformation across the city’s hospitality sector by enhancing guest convenience, improving efficiency and modernising hotel arrival processes through seamless technology integration.
At Address Downtown, guests can now complete pre-arrival verification remotely from anywhere in the world. This enables hotel teams to personalise each stay in advance and significantly reduce check-in times on arrival. Upon reaching the hotel, guests can move seamlessly from travel to their stay without the administrative delays of traditional front-desk registration.

According to Address Hotels + Resorts, the digital platform has been seamlessly integrated into daily operations, enhancing efficiency while maintaining the group’s hallmark of personalised service. The technology is designed to support staff by streamlining workflows rather than replacing the human connection central to luxury hospitality.
With digital check-in now live, Address Downtown joins a growing number of properties adopting the Dubai Digital Hotel framework, which DET says is being made available across approximately 820 hotels and hotel apartments in Dubai as adoption ramps up.
As the city’s hospitality sector accelerates its digital transformation, other luxury properties are also investing in AI-driven systems to enhance personalisation and streamline operations. Palazzo Versace Dubai, for example, has introduced a fully integrated AI automation system featuring ‘Laura’, a digital persona that manages multi-channel guest interactions and delivers tailored support throughout the stay.
