Members gain access to new routes, benefits and easier reward redemptions
Oman Air and Qantas have expanded their partnership to allow members to earn frequent flyer points on each other’s flights between Oman and Australia.
Members of Oman Air’s Sindbad and Qantas Frequent Flyer programmes can now earn points or miles when flying with either airline, a benefit previously limited to point redemption.
Following Oman Air’s entry into the oneworld alliance, Sindbad members can now earn miles and tier credits on Qantas flights, while Qantas members earn points and status credits on Oman Air services.
The move gives frequent flyers greater flexibility to collect and use rewards across a wider global network.

Oman Air’s Vice-President for Loyalty, Guest Experience, and Brand Renata Rached said: “By building on our existing redemption arrangement, we are delivering even greater value and a truly seamless loyalty experience for our members, while making journeys to and beyond Muscat even more appealing.”
Kate Sherwood, Head of Qantas Airline Loyalty, added: “We’ve seen strong demand from members since launching our partnership last year. Now, with the opportunity for members to earn Qantas Points and Status Credits, travel with Oman Air across Asia, Europe and the Middle East will be even more rewarding.”
This move follows Oman Air’s recent collaboration with Turkish Airlines, which also allows frequent flyer members to earn and redeem points across both airlines’ networks.
