Red Sea property will be the kingdom’s largest all-inclusive hotel
Rixos is strengthening its presence in Saudi Arabia with the launch of Rixos Murjana in King Abdullah Economic City on 15 December 2025.
Set along the Red Sea coast, the 275,000-square-metre property is poised to become the kingdom’s largest all-inclusive resort, combining family-friendly facilities with personalised guest services.
Blending Hijazi-inspired design with contemporary architecture, the resort will feature 488 rooms and suites, alongside select overwater villas at Club Privé. Guests will also enjoy direct access to a 600-metre private beach.
Rixos Murjana will debut as Saudi’s first resort with a fully integrated water park. Spanning 42,000-square-metres, Murjana Waterpark will include 11 slides, three pools, kids’ play areas and three dining outlets. In line with the Saudi Green Initiative 2030, the water park will incorporate renewable energy systems and water-saving landscaping.

Wellness and sports will play a central role in the guest experience, with fitness classes at the Exclusive Sports Club and treatments offered at Anjana Spa. Family travellers can expect the brand’s signature Rixy Kids’ Club, the largest of its kind in the kingdom, alongside a dedicated Teens’ Club.
For dining, guests can choose from five restaurants serving international cuisines, plus a selection of bars, including a beach club, cigar lounge and a Godiva cafe.
Catering to both leisure and business travellers, the resort will also feature a 2,800-square-metre ballroom and versatile outdoor event spaces.
The opening marks the brand’s second property in the kingdom, following the July 2025 debut of Rixos Obhur Jeddah. Rixos owner Ennismore continues to expand its Saudi portfolio, with a 25hours Hotel planned for Khobar in 2028.
Saudi Arabia’s hospitality pipeline is growing rapidly as the destination attracts record visitor numbers. The kingdom welcomed more than 60 million international and domestic visitors in the first half of 2025, with European arrivals rising by 14% through September.
Supporting this growth, Saudi continues to relax travel access, introducing new measures such as a visa-free travel agreement with Russia and an instant e-visa service, allowing Visa cardholders to apply and receive a visa within minutes using only their bank and passport details.
