Premium experience to include themed zones, curated cuisine and private suites
Riyadh Air has revealed details of its first premium airport lounge, located between Terminals 1 and 2 at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital.
The new Saudi carrier, on track to begin operations in late 2025, describes Hafawa Lounge as a space that “seamlessly blends innovation and Saudi tradition to create the future of air travel experience.”
The lounge is reserved for Business Elite and Business Class passengers, as well as top frequent flyers, all of whom can also access complimentary Blacklane chauffeur service for journeys within 50km of King Khalid International Airport.
The nearly 2,000-square-metre flagship lounge accommodates up to 370 travellers across themed zones, with spaces specifically tailored for relaxation, socialising, digital immersion or private family retreats.

Dining options include The Café, where baristas serve fresh coffee alongside artisanal pastries from the in-house bakery, as well as a Buffet and Social Dining section with a Social Lounge and Beverage Corner featuring premium non-alcoholic refreshments.
There’s also an Immersive Room designed to deliver interactive digital content.
Families benefit from Private and Family Rooms, while Executive Dining offers à la carte menus, private dining and seating overlooking a tranquil garden.
Authentic touches of Saudi hospitality are woven throughout, from traditional coffee and premium dates at arrival to interiors inspired by desert landscapes and crafted with natural materials such as limestone, oak and bronze to create a warm and tactile environment.
Innovation is central to the guest experience, with barrier-free access, digital wayfinding and interactive features supporting Riyadh Air’s digital-first approach.
The major unveiling comes after the airline showcased its cabin interiors earlier this year. It has also teamed up with Blacklane for chauffeur services and local wellbeing brand Kayanee to create amenity kits and pyjamas for both business and premium economy passengers.
Riyadh Air plans to connect the kingdom to more than 100 destinations by 2030, supported by a fleet of 132 aircraft.
