The 17-acre island offers all-inclusive experiences, including the world’s largest swim-up bar
Royal Caribbean’s newest private destination, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, has opened in The Bahamas. The first-of-its-kind beach club welcomed guests following a private ceremony with Bahamian officials and Royal Caribbean executives. It is the line’s second destination in the island nation, following Perfect Day at CocoCay, which launched in 2019.
The new beach club is open to guests sailing on any Royal Caribbean cruise that calls at Nassau, offering all-inclusive passes available for purchase. It features on several itineraries departing from US ports, including sailings aboard Utopia of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas.
Spanning 17 acres, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is divided into three zones catering to different guest preferences: Family Beach, Chill Beach and Party Cove.
Designed for kid-friendly activities, the Family Beach features a two-storey waterfront cabana offering beach games, frozen drinks machine, a whirlpool and a shallow pool. At the opposite end of the island, Chill Beach offers a more laid-back experience, featuring white-sand shorelines and a deep pool area, alongside cabanas for unwinding.
At the centre of the island is Party Cove, anchored by The Floating Flamingo, the world’s largest swim-up bar. Live music and entertainment keep guests entertained while the second floor features a VIP area for up to 12 guests, offering personal food and beverage services.

Dining options across the destination include three Paradise Grill venues and 10 waterfront bars, serving a mix of international and Bahamian delicacies, such as fire engine fritters. Guests can also explore artisan huts featuring local craftwork.
Developed through a public-private partnership with the Bahamian government, Royal Beach Club Paradise Island supports the local economy through initiatives such as Royal Caribbean’s Artist Discovery Program, which has commissioned works from local artists throughout the island destination.
Commenting on the opening, Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean, said the debut of the brand’s first Royal Beach Club marks the introduction of a “bold new kind of beach experience”, and signals “just the start” of the company’s expanding destination portfolio.
“Guests told us they were looking for more ways to make the most of their vacations in The Bahamas, and that’s exactly what we’ve created with Royal Beach Club Paradise Island,” he added.
Royal Caribbean continues to expand its private destination portfolio, with several new projects in the pipeline. The group is currently developing two new beach clubs in Santorini, Greece and Cozumel, Mexico, set to open in 2026. By 2027, the cruise line will also introduce Perfect Day Mexico, an extension of The Bahamas venue, and Lelepa Vanuatu, the first private cruise destination in the Southern Hemisphere.
