KAFD-located property to include seven dining venues and signature wellness spaces
Marriott International will open W Riyadh-KAFD in the first quarter of 2026, marking W Hotels’ debut in Saudi Arabia and its seventh property in the GCC region.
Anchored in the heart of King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), the property sits within the kingdom’s first vertical city and is around a 20-minute drive from King Khaled International Airport. Guests will benefit from direct skywalk connections to the Riyadh Metro, as well as nearby dining, retail and entertainment options across the mixed-use district.
W Riyadh-KAFD will feature 210 luxury rooms and suites, seven restaurants, retail space and expansive meeting and event facilities. The property is expected to showcase the brand’s bold design language alongside inventive culinary concepts and year-round lifestyle programming aimed at both local residents and visitors.

Plans include hallmark W spaces such as the Living Room, Wet Deck, Away Spa and Fit fitness centre. Guests will also have access to the brand’s Whatever/Whenever service, designed to deliver highly personalised stays.

KAFD is recognised as the world’s largest LEED-certified mixed-use business destination, spanning 1.6 million square metres of offices, retail, entertainment, cultural venues and hotels. Among recent openings, IHG launched the first Kimpton-branded hotel in the Middle East, a 212-key property with four dining venues, a rooftop pool and flexible event spaces.
Looking ahead, KAFD’s luxury pipeline includes Regent Riyadh, a 250-key hotel, InterContinental Riyadh KAFD, expected to add 400 rooms and a pool to the destination, and a 450-room Hilton property featuring a dedicated health club.
