Renovations on the heritage property set to complete within two years
Accor, the largest international hotel operator in Saudi Arabia, has signed Swissôtel Jeddah Al Hamra, marking a major addition to its growing portfolio in the kingdom.
Developed in partnership with Arabian Hotels & Catering, the agreement will see the transformation of the long-standing Al Hamra Hotel Jeddah into a five-star Swissôtel property. The four-decade-old hotel will undergo a phased renovation over the next two years, with reopening scheduled for 2027.
The transformation aims to blend the hotel’s rich legacy with contemporary design and an enhanced guest offering “rooted in Swiss mastery, precision and vitality".
Originally opened in 1984, the 323-key hotel features five dining outlets, an executive club lounge, extensive meeting and event facilities and a grand ballroom designed to host corporate, social and governmental gatherings.
