Upcoming properties span the Red Sea and Madinah
Four Seasons is set to broaden its presence in Saudi Arabia with three new luxury properties slated to open in 2026, part of a wider pipeline of six developments across the kingdom. The upcoming launches include Four Seasons Resort Red Sea, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Amaala, and Four Seasons Hotel Madinah.
Here’s what to expect from the upcoming projects.
Four Seasons Resort Red Sea
Located on Shura Island in the Red Sea, the 180-key resort will offer beachfront and garden rooms alongside spacious suites, including a presidential apartment. Wellness and recreation facilities will feature a dedicated spa, a Marine Discovery Centre and Kids For All Seasons, a teen and children’s hub. Guests will also enjoy six restaurants and lounges serving global and regional cuisine.
Positioned on the eastern end of Shura Island, the resort is surrounded by water on three sides, granting direct beachfront access for scuba diving and snorkelling across one of the world’s largest coral reef systems. Guests can embark on luxury catamaran sailings or plan excursions to mainland destinations such as AlUla and Wadi Alsalaa.
The resort will also operate the Shura Links Clubhouse, home to Saudi Arabia’s first island golf course featuring 18 holes.
Ahead of its opening, Four Seasons Resort Red Sea is offering 15% off its Bed and Breakfast rate for stays between 1 February and 31 July 2026, with a minimum two-night booking.
Set to join several luxury properties already open on Shura Island, including Grand Hyatt The Red Sea – the island’s largest hotel – the Four Seasons resort will further elevate the destination’s growing hospitality offering.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences, Amaala
On the kingdom’s northwestern coast, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Amaala will be a 220-key, wellness-led destination overlooking Hijazi Cove. The property will feature rooms, suites and villas with private pools and a comprehensive wellness programme integrating spa therapies, fitness experiences and cultural immersion.
The resort’s wellness facilities will be centred around an Organic Spa Garden incorporating natural elements such as a waterfall, offering treatments including halotherapy and cryotherapy. Guests will also have access to a variety of land and water activities, including windsurfing, kayaking, e-biking and climbing. Additional curated experiences include birdwatching and stargazing.
Opening in early 2026, the resort will launch alongside other high-profile properties at Amaala, including Six Senses and Equinox, further strengthening the destination’s reputation as a global wellness hub.
Four Seasons Madinah
Beyond the Red Sea, Four Seasons will make its debut in the holy city of Madinah with a new 246-key hotel opening in 2026. Located steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, the property’s design will draw inspiration from Islamic architecture and the mosque’s spiritual heritage. Facilities will include multiple dining venues and lounges, a spa, fitness centre and dedicated event spaces.
These 2026 openings form part of a wider Saudi development plan for Four Seasons. Upcoming additions include Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Jeddah at the Corniche, set for 2027, followed by Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah and Four Seasons Resort Neom at Sindalah, both scheduled for 2028.
The expansion comes as Saudi’s luxury hospitality sector continues to accelerate, with numerous high-end openings across the Red Sea coast and urban centres. Upcoming launches include The Ritz-Carlton Amaala, Fairmont The Red Sea, W Riyadh and SO/ Jeddah.
