First Look: Belmond Britannic Explorer, UK

Making its debut in July 2025, Belmond’s Britannic Explorer brings the first luxury sleeper train to England and Wales. Departing from London, the train offers three-night journeys along three routes through Cornwall, The Lake District and Wales. Between stops at select destinations for guided hikes and city tours, travellers can soak up Britain’s changing landscapes from the Observation Car, unwind in the spa, or sip botanical-inspired cocktails in the Victorian-styled Bar. Fine dining comes courtesy of chef Simon Rogan, whose menu champions sustainable ingredients, while the 18 suites, designed by London studio Albion Nord, blend "countryside tones with heritage motifs".
