West Coast itineraries to visit ports including Senegal, Ghana and Angola
Swan Hellenic has unveiled two Grand Voyages on the west coast of Africa for 2026, alongside an expanded programme in the region in 2027.
The first Grand Voyage in autumn 2026 is the 12-night Atlantic Crossroads: Cruise from Senegal to Ghana, which visits nine ports in seven countries from 16 September 2026, costing from US$17,410.
The second is the 14-night West Africa cruise from Ghana to Angola, which visits nine ports in seven countries from 29 September 2026, leading in from US$14.055.
The two Grand Voyages can be combined into a 26-night expedition visiting 14 countries and 18 ports between Dakar and Luanda.
In 2027, there will be nine cruises across two seasons. In the spring, there will be four northbound sailings visiting 14 countries in 46 days between Cape Town and Lisbon. A nine-night West Africa Coast & Atlantic Islands Cruise sailing from Dakar to Lisbon on 5 May 2027, starts from US$7,995.

In the autumn, there will be five southbound voyages operating the route in reverse in the autumn featuring 15 countries in 51 days. The seven-night From Fado to the Kasbah Cruise from Lisbon to Casablanca departs on 8 September 2027, with prices from US$5,995.
All voyages will be on board SH Diana, which has capacity for 192 passengers.
