The 2.6 million-square-metre Wadi Safar property will feature an 18-hole golf course
Luxury developer Dar Global has unveiled its latest Trump-branded development in Saudi Arabia, the Trump International Golf Club, Wadi Safar. The hospitality project forms part of the Trump Organisation’s broader US$10 billion investment in the kingdom, which also includes plans for a mixed-use development in Jeddah.
The 2.6 million-square-metre site is located in Wadi Safar, a luxury residential and hospitality development within Saudi’s historic Diriyah project on the outskirts of Riyadh. It will feature a Trump International Hotel, an 18-hole championship golf course with a members-only clubhouse and a collection of Trump-branded mansions in Rayana, the district’s gated community.
The project will join a roster of luxury hotels planned for Wadi Safar, including Amansamar, The Chedi, The Oberoi and Montage Resort, among others.
Set against the scenic wadi environment, the Trump property is designed to incorporate elements of the kingdom’s natural and cultural heritage, and is being developed in partnership with local real estate firm, Dar Al Arkan. It is expected to be completed by 2029.

Commenting on the launch, Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organisation, said: “Trump International Golf Club, Wadi Safar will redefine luxury and excellence in the region, setting a new standard that reflects the brand’s enduring commitment to quality, prestige and timeless elegance.”
Beyond Riyadh, the Trump Organisation is also launching Trump Plaza Jeddah, a US$1 billion mixed-use development located within the Amaya Jeddah community along King Abdulaziz Road. Described as "Jeddah’s Most Connected Address", the project will combine residences, offices, retail and destination dining. Highlights include a members-only Vitality Club, spanning 4,000 square metres, alongside golf simulators, wellness spas, swimming pools and a range of dining venues.
Ziad El Chaar, CEO of Dar Global, said: “This is not a single-use development, but a carefully curated urban ecosystem designed for global residents who want to live, work and connect within the best address in Jeddah.”
With the addition of these two projects, the Trump Organisation’s Saudi portfolio now comprises three properties, following its 2024 market debut with the launch of Trump Tower Jeddah.
Elsewhere in the GCC, the group is developing Trump International Hotel in Muscat, Oman, set to open in 2028, alongside Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai, scheduled for 2030. Entry into Qatar is also anticipated, with a future Trump-branded residential and golf development planned for Doha.
