Dubai scores a hat-trick at World’s 50 Best Bars 2022

Three Dubai bars made it into the world-famous top 50 ranking

The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022 were announced last night in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain and Barcelona takes the top spot, with Paradiso in Barcelona being crowned The World’s Best Bar. 

In the UAE, Dubai has made its mark on the world-famous bar ranking with three bars listed in the top 50 in 2022. This is the highest number of bars Dubai has had on the list in more than a decade. 

Zuma Dubai (pictured) scored highest, placing at number 38, which means it was also crowned The Best Bar in the Middle East and Africa, sponsored by Paragon. 

Galaxy Bar remains at number 45 for a second year, while increasingly popular The Bulgari Bar took the number 50 slot. Just missing the top 50, the elegant Asian art deco bar at Mimi Kashuki placed at number 58.

The 2022 list features bars from 26 cities with 14 new entries spread from cities including Athens, Bangkok, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Dubai, Florence, Hong Kong, Lisbon, London, Naples and New York.

The 14th list of The World’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, was announced at a live awards ceremony on 4 October in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The list is compiled by votes from more than 650 drinks experts from around the world.
