Mama Shelter to open in Nice, France

Ahead of the brand's Dubai launch, a Côte d'Azur branch will welcome guests from June 2024

Mama Shelter Nice will open this summer – ahead of the brand's launch in Dubai in winter 2024 – with 102 rooms, a rooftop pool, a bar and a restaurant.

The Nice opening will be the 11th Mama Shelter hotel in France, in a portfolio totalling 18 worldwide.

Mama Shelter Nice will be home to a Mediterranean-inspired ground floor restaurant that features an open kitchen, slanted mirrors and cast iron columns adorned with frescoes and communal tables that set a convivial, friendly, laid-back tone.

At its rooftop restaurant, dishes will be cooked on a Big Green Egg barbecue and in a Josper charcoal oven to enhance their flavours.

The rooftop will also be home to a mosaic swimming pool with wicker screens for shade, lounge chairs and a bar.

"Functional but playful ateliers" at the hotel will provide a space for personalised seminars, product launches, executive meetings and events, and the Mama Shelter team can be booked to coordinate activities, and organise customised aperitifs, lunches and cocktails.
