First Look: Fairmont Golden Prague, Czech Republic

Following a two-year multi-million euro renovation, this landmark brutalist building on the banks of Prague's Vltava River has reopened as a Fairmont property. The 320 elegant rooms, suites and serviced residences blend modernist aesthetics with warm tones of rich dark wood and traditional Czech glass artistry. Among six dining venues, rooftop restaurant Zlata Praha combines seasonal cuisine with city views, while the Greenhouse overlooking Prague Castle serves grilled dishes and fine wines. There's also an art gallery, a fitness studio and a spa with three saunas, a tranquil garden and an indoor-outdoor pool, the only one of its kind in the city.
