Alpine-style property offers padel court, infinity pool and private helicopter transfers
Hilton has made its long-awaited debut in Pakistan with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Nathiagali, elevating the hospitality scene in the country’s northern Galiyat region.
The launch of this upscale mountain retreat signals a new chapter for Pakistan’s tourism ambitions, as the industry eyes revenues surpassing US$4.26 billion in 2025, buoyed by a 6.75% annual growth rate projected through 2029.
Set against Nathiagali’s dramatic alpine backdrop, the hotel introduces Pakistan’s first-ever mountain padel court, along with an indoor infinity pool with panoramic mountain views and a helipad for helicopter arrivals.
Guests benefit from seamless connections, with Islamabad just over two hours by car or under 40 minutes by chartered helicopter.

The property sits beside Lalazar Park, placing guests within easy reach of famed local landmarks such as Mushkpuri Top, Miranjani Peak and Ayubia National Park.
The hotel features 110 guest rooms and suites, including 14 spacious suites boasting panoramic views of snow-streaked peaks and lush pine forests. Interiors blend warm, mountain lodge motifs with modern design, enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows and well-equipped workspaces tailored to both leisure and business travellers.
Wellness is a focus, anchored by a spa offering holistic treatments, as well as a fitness centre, salon and indoor infinity pool with sweeping views.
The property’s ground-breaking mountain padel court adds a contemporary twist to recreation, while families benefit from amenities such as a private cinema lounge and children’s zone.
Dining spans a variety of tastes and moods. Shogun’s Pan-Asian specialities cover Chinese, Thai and Japanese favourites, while Zareen delivers an all-day international menu.
Guests can relax at the Coffee Shop with freshly brewed blends or enjoy high tea and barbecues al fresco at Lalazar Terrace Café, set against storied mountain vistas.
Event spaces include two signature banquet halls and flexible meeting rooms.
Commenting on the opening, Guy Hutchinson, President, Middle East & Africa, Hilton, said: “With its rich cultural heritage and scenic charm, Pakistan’s travel and tourism sector is poised for significant growth in the coming years. We are delighted to bring Hilton’s signature hospitality to the Pakistani market with the opening of this beautiful property.”
Facilitating travel to Pakistan from the GCC region, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is set to double its flights to cities in Pakistan, with increased frequencies to Multan and Faisalabad starting September 2025, while Etihad Airways is set to launch flights to Pakistan city Peshawar later this year and boost frequency to capital Karachi to 17 flights a week from 1 October.
Hilton’s expansion across the Middle East continues apace, with DoubleTree and Waldorf Astoria openings scheduled for Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE—underscoring Hilton’s momentum in both established and emerging markets.
