Cristian Nannucci to oversee opening of Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel in 2026
Minor Hotels has named Cristian Nannucci as General Manager for the upcoming Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel, the brand’s first property in Oman set to open in Q1 2026.
Nannucci, a hospitality executive with more than 35 years of global experience, will oversee the pre-opening and operational launch of this landmark new-build property in Muscat’s modern La Vie mixed-use development, just 15 minutes from the international airport.
He is tasked with leading all aspects of the five-star hotel’s opening, from building the launch team to shaping market positioning.
An Italian national, Nannucci has vast experience in hospitality spanning Asia, Europe and the Middle East, from Rome, London and Paris to Bangkok, Penang, Cebu and Kuala Lumpur.
This includes leading integrated properties from the Shangri-La and Traders Qaryat Al Beri complex in Abu Dhabi to Grosvenor House in London.
Most recently, he led senior assignments in Malaysia and the Philippines, combining operational excellence with a strong focus on guest experience and commercial performance.
As Pre-Opening Complex General Manager at Pan Pacific Serviced Suites and ParkRoyal Collection in Kuala Lumpur, Nannucci successfully drove the set-up, launch and market positioning of two luxury hotels in the city’s Golden Triangle, overseeing commercial and operational stabilisation during a challenging period for the industry.
