Upgrades include brand-new suites and a culinary programme
Silversea Cruises will refurbish Silver Spirit ahead of its 2026 Northern Europe season, upgrading public areas and suites to elevate the guest experience. The project follows the recent revitalisation of Silver Muse, continuing the line’s long-term fleet enhancement programme.
As part of the upgrades, Silver Spirit will debut Silversea’s renowned S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) culinary programme, featuring a kitchen, bar and lab offering regionally inspired menus, cocktails and hands-on cooking classes.
Refit highlights include a redesigned Venetian Lounge with new furnishings and an LED wall, a refreshed pool deck and an updated Zagara Beauty Spa and fitness centre, the latter equipped with an AI-powered Amp fitness device offering more than 500 guided workouts. New Medallion Suites will also be introduced, each featuring a private balcony, separate bedroom and a bathroom with both a tub and walk-in shower.
Following the refurbishment, Silver Spirit will operate a series of Northern Europe sailings from May 2026, including two departures from Southampton, UK, on 27 May and 27 August, sailing to IJmuiden (Amsterdam) and Lisbon.

Commenting on the revamp, Silversea president Bert Hernandez said: “With each ship’s revitalisation, we are thoughtfully reshaping the future of our onboard experience to introduce new concepts, expand our guest favourites and continue elevating the way our guests experience the world.
“Silver Spirit’s transformation reflects our dedication to creating richer journeys for our guests – giving them more space, more comfort, and a deeper sense of immersion onboard and across every destination.”
