XDubai athletes perform wingsuit flight around Ciel Dubai Marina
Ciel Dubai Marina, recently opened as the world’s tallest hotel, hosted an aerial stunt display in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and XDubai, an adventure experiences platform.
The high-adrenaline event was staged around the property, which is the latest record-breaking addition to Dubai’s skyline, standing at 377 metres and spanning 82 floors, nearly matching the height of New York City’s Empire State Building.
A total of five XDubai athletes performed a flight over the Dubai Marina using specialised aerodynamic wingsuits. The lead stuntman flew through Ciel’s ’eye of the needle’ architectural opening at speeds exceeding 200km per hour, while the remaining participants circled the building, trailing coloured smoke trails across the sky.
Commenting on the stunt, Rob Burns, CEO of The First Group, said: “XDubai’s meticulous, safety-driven planning process enabled these world-class athletes to perform an unprecedented aerial display with astonishing precision.
“This collaboration reflects our shared vision to push boundaries, celebrate innovation and create unforgettable experiences that redefine what is possible in Dubai’s real estate and hospitality landscapes.”
