Evan Harrington takes the helm of Mövenpick and Pullman properties on Al Marjan Island
Accor has appointed Evan Harrington as Cluster General Manager for Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island and Pullman Hotels and Resorts Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
The strategic move comes as Accor reopens Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island following a refurbishment.
In his expanded role, Harrington will lead operations, commercial strategy, guest experience, brand positioning and sustainability across both properties, and is tasked with driving synergies for improved results.
He brings nearly two decades of multi-brand experience across the Middle East and Africa, including GM positions at Pullman and Hilton properties in the UAE and Botswana.
Most recently, he served as GM of Hilton Garden Inn Ras Al Khaimah, following senior operations roles with Radisson Collection, Fairmont and Hilton in Oman, Kenya and South Africa.

Al Marjan Island continues to attract global attention, with a series of new luxury developments planned, including the UAE’s first casino resort — Wynn Al Marjan Island — scheduled to open in early 2027, and SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, Ennismore’s first all-inclusive lifestyle property, launching later this year.
Additionally, Four Seasons, Nobu Hotels, Fairmont, Taj and NH Collection are all set to debut in Ras Al Khaimah in the coming years.
Visitor arrivals to Ras Al Khaimah reached 1.28 million in 2024—a 12% revenue jump—as the emirate moves toward its target of 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030.
The destination was recently accepted into Virtuoso and Serandipians by Traveller Made, expanding its luxury travel reach.
