Guest stays include private pools, curated rituals and bespoke wellbeing experiences
Dubai’s Meliá Desert Palm has unveiled six new villas designed as “immersive sanctuaries” that blend contemporary comfort with tailored wellness experiences.
Located just 20 minutes from Downtown Dubai on a secluded polo estate, the new one-bedroom Al Waha villas expand the resort’s wellness-focused accommodation offering.
At 189 square metres, each villa is styled around tranquillity and privacy, with indoor and al fresco dining areas, a private courtyard garden and a large pool.
Interiors echo the villa’s name – Waha, meaning oasis in Arabic – with natural fabrics, fine linens, botanical accents, curated aromatherapy kits and yoga mats, along with customisable lighting, soundscapes and wellness-focused minibars.
Personalised touches begin on arrival, with welcome rituals designed to encourage relaxation from the outset and guests also enjoy a series of complimentary experiences included in the stay.

Highlights range from a nutrient-rich Superfood Afternoon Tea served in the villa, to dedicated relaxation therapies such as a Sleeping Ritual incorporating a pillow menu, weighted blanket, guided meditation, lavender-infused pillow mist and Arabic poetry.
Bathing ceremonies form another key part of the experience, with signature rituals including Arabian Detox with Dead Sea salts, Moonlit Serenity with calming chamomile, or Floral Bliss infused with hibiscus and Damask rose.
Beyond rituals, guests also receive a complimentary private mindfulness experience, such as sunrise meditation or sound healing, to further tailor their stay.
Alongside the new Al Waha villas, Meliá Desert Palm continues to offer its established three-bedroom villas.
Commenting on the launch, Pavlina Tarabova Al-Ghamdi, General Manager at Meliá Desert Palm, said: “The Al Waha Collection Villas are not just a new category of accommodation – they are a sanctuary for inner transformation.
"Whether guests seek a brief escape to recharge or a deeper journey of self-connection, Al Waha provides an intentional, immersive environment where meaningful wellness experiences unfold effortlessly.”
Resort facilities include a fitness centre, yoga room, sauna and steam, full-service spa, tennis court, outdoor pool and three restaurants.
