Muscat’s adults-only luxury resort is welcoming guests once again with a new spa
Shangri-La Al Husn, Muscat has reopened its doors following a temporary closure, which was the result of global restrictions.
Set on a clifftop and located 45 minutes from Muscat International Airport, Shangri-La Al Husn caters to guests aged over 16 and offers locally inspired experiences and bespoke tours.
Comprising 180 rooms and suites, the resort, designed to reference the historic architecture of Omani forts with courtyards, features ornate arches, water features and palm trees.
Panoramic sea view bedroom
Guests visiting the reopened property will be able to experience the latest addition to its wellness offering, the Luban Spa
Luban, also known as Frankincense, is renowned for its healing and beautifying properties and the spa offers a myriad Omani frankincense treatment rituals for the body and mind.
The resort also caters to those wanting to experience local flavours. Ingredients, sourced from around the Sultanate, play an essential role during the guest journey and range from locally harvested pomegranates, roses, date syrup and Omani honey.
