Beachfront property at Al Mouj Muscat to include rooftop pool and five dining venues
IHG Hotels & Resorts is set to debut its fastest-growing hotel brand Voco in Oman with the opening of Voco Muscat Al Mouj in late 2025.
This marks the brand’s entry into the Sultanate and strengthens IHG’s footprint across the GCC, following the recent opening of a 706-room Voco property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with a second Voco hotel set to open in the UAE, in Sharjah, in 2026.
Voco Muscat Al Mouj, developed in partnership with Golden Group Holding, will feature 251 rooms and suites along the shores of Al Mouj Muscat, a waterfront destination with luxury residences, upscale retail, a yacht marina and a championship golf course.
The hotel’s beachfront address places guests just 15 minutes from Muscat International Airport and within easy reach of the city’s historic Old Town and major landmarks such as the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House and Muttrah Souq.
