New entity to oversee Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality operations, travel experiences and real estate
Ras Al Khaimah’s Marjan and RAK Hospitality Holding have merged under the single Marjan brand to drive the emirate’s next phase of tourism and real estate growth.
The new entity will oversee all real estate development, hospitality operations and travel and lifestyle experiences, streamlining services to support Vision 2030, which aims to attract 3.5 million visitors annually – 60% of them international .
Marjan is spearheading large-scale masterplans including RAK Central, Jebel Jais, Marjan Beach, and Al Marjan Island, the latter alone set to deliver around 12,000 hotel keys through current and upcoming projects, including flagship developments like Wynn Al Marjan Island, which will add over 1,500 keys and the region’s first casino.
Marjan’s latest beachfront development Marjan Beach will feature 22,000 homes and 12,000 hotel rooms, plus 3km of beachfront, targeting an annual visitor capacity of 180,000.

More than 20 hotels are currently in the pipeline as Ras Al Khaimah moves to quadruple its hospitality capacity to 25,000 keys by 2032. International headline brands include JW Marriott, W, Nikki Beach, Nobu, Fairmont, and Four Seasons.
Group CEO Abdulla Al Abdouli said Marjan will transform the emirate into a “smart, authentic, connected city of the future,” with ambitions to create high-value jobs for Emiratis and deliver destinations rooted in RAK’s unique identity.
Supporting the local hospitality ecosystem, Marjan will provide housing for over 15,000 hospitality professionals and operate advanced laundry facilities capable of processing 100,000 tonnes annually, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
As part of its broader strategy, Marjan is expanding development into the mountains, delivering 100km of new hiking and biking trails within five years and targeting 20,000 festival visitors annually—positioning Ras Al Khaimah as a year-round adventure and events hub.
