The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert has joined Virtuoso’s exclusive network of more than 2,500 hand-picked luxury travel providers across 100 countries.
Set within the protected Wadi Khadeja nature reserve, the desert resort becomes part of a select group of Middle East members, including sister property Nujuma – a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea destination, as well as Dubai’s Jumeirah Burj Al Arab and W Doha in Qatar.

The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert features more than 100 private pool villas, including Bedouin-inspired tents, three dining venues, a rooftop lounge for desert views, Rainforest hydrothermal circuit and array of immersive experiences rooted in local culture, from tree planting to falconry.
The resort is one of three in Ras Al Khaimah that are members of Virtuoso, alongside InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab and Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort.

The affiliation follows Ras Al Khaimah’s recent acceptance as a Virtuoso ’preferred’ destination, reflecting the emirate’s growing presence within global luxury networks.
The emirate’s luxury portfolio already includes Waldorf Astoria and The Ritz-Carlton, along with new arrivals such as Anantara Mina Al Arab and Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort.
Upcoming openings include Wynn Resorts, scheduled for early 2027, and SO/ Ras Al Khaimah, opening later this year, as well as properties from Four Seasons, Nobu Hotels, Fairmont, Taj and NH Collection.
