Excursions

Azamara Cruises’ immersive approach to travel allows guests to truly connect with each destination through longer stays, late nights and overnight port calls. With Extended Destination Days, travellers enjoy 10 or more hours in port, giving them the freedom to explore cultural cities by day and after dark.

Country Intensive Voyages focus on a single nation, offering in-depth discovery of local highlights. Guests might visit Croatia’s walled city of Dubrovnik one day and sample oysters in the fishing village of Ston the next.

Expanded Land Programmes and specially curated excursions, such as truffle hunting in Italy or flamenco dancing in Seville, further enhance the experience.

The line is known for its destination-intensive voyages, including overnight stays and exclusive private events, setting it apart from mainstream cruise brands.

Cancellations

Azamara Cruises’ standard cancellation terms vary based on voyage length. Refund percentages depend on how many days before departure the cancellation is made, with higher refunds for earlier cancellations and reduced or no refunds closer to sailing. Detailed terms, including tiered cancellation fees and specific conditions are outlined in the booking conditions online.

Travel insurance

Azamara Cruises does not provide any insurance programme in the Middle East. Prior to sailing, Azamara Cruises strongly recommends that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance that can cover them for any losses due to unforeseen events, such as last-minute trip cancellation, medical emergencies and baggage loss.
