Emirates to launch flights to three new Asia destinations

Dubai airline to be first from Middle East to operate daily service to Shenzhen in China

UAE-based Emirates airline is set to launch three new flights connecting Dubai in the UAE with new destinations in Asia.

New network destinations include China’s tech hub Shenzhen and Cambodia’s tourist hotspot Siem Reap (pictured above). Emirates will also serve Da Nang in Vietnam.

The move gives the airline the largest network in East Asia for any non-Asian airline, with 269 weekly flights to 24 destinations.

Emirates will now fly to four destination in mainland China, three in Vietnam and two in Cambodia.

Shenzhen, China

Daily direct flights between Dubai and Shenzhen will begin 1 July 2025, with flights four times a week to Da Nang starting 2 June 2025, and three weekly flights to Siem Reap from 3 June 2025, with both connecting via Bangkok.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer said the expansion into Shenzhen opens new doors for business between the Chinese technology hub and global markets.

He added that expansion to Da Nang follows the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the UAE and Vietnam.

“Emirates is also making it easier for travellers to connect to Siem Reap, home to Angkor Wat, one of Cambodia’s most popular destinations with its incredible ancient wonders and natural beauty,” said Kazim.

“With the addition of these new gateways, we’re strengthening our links, giving customers more choice, offering an unparalleled onboard experience and ensuring seamless and convenient connections to and from China’s largest cities, Vietnam’s emerging economic and leisure hubs, and Cambodia’s touristic treasures.”
