Mykonos hotspot will debut in Amaala, Saudi Arabia
Mykonos’ famed beach club and lifestyle brand Nammos is expanding beyond Greece with the launch of its first Middle East property, Nammos Resort Amaala, set to debut in Q1 of 2026 at Red Sea Global’s ultra-luxury wellness destination, Amaala, on Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast.
Anchored by a private island and a dedicated wellness hub, the new beachfront property will feature 110 keys and 30 ocean-view private residences overlooking Triple Bay, framed by the Hijaz Mountains and the Red Sea.
Accommodations include rooms and suites, pool bungalows and villas, among them the showpiece Cliff Villa, claiming to offer guests one of Amaala’s most exclusive views. Each guest will enjoy personalised service from a dedicated Nammos Butler.
The resort’s design merges Greek and Saudi influences, created in collaboration with Foster + Partners, with architectural inspiration drawn from the region’s traditional Hijazi forms, expressed through Terrazzo flooring, textured walls, archways and a palette of aquamarine, white and gold.
Among the resort’s highlights are a collection of infinity pools, the Blu Kids Club for younger guests, and a wellness hub featuring a fitness centre and the debut Nammos Spa, introducing the region’s first collaboration with precision skincare brand Augustinus Bader.

Dining options will include Nalu, a relaxed venue inspired by Latin American flavours with Asian influences; Ilios, a Mediterranean restaurant hosting guest chefs and pop-up experiences; and the iconic Nammos Restaurant, set on its own private island with an infinity pool, cabanas and a private jetty for guests arriving by boat.
Beyond the resort, guests can explore Amaala’s larger world of regenerative luxury, including the Yacht Club and Corallium Marine Life Institute, both dedicated to wellbeing and marine preservation.
Commenting on the launch, Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said: “For years, the global ultra-luxury landscape has been divided into two worlds: the social energy of the world’s most sought-after lifestyle destinations and the silent isolation of the resort. At Nammos Resort Amaala, those worlds collide.
"We are bringing our signature social connection into a destination built on regenerative luxury, creating a rhythm that the region has never seen before.”
Nammos joins nine other resorts opening as part of Amaala’s initial development phase, which includes forthcoming debuts from Equinox, Four Seasons, Rosewood, Six Senses, and Red Sea Global’s own Amaala Hotel, all scheduled for early 2026. They will later be joined by Clinique La Prairie, Jayasom and The Ritz-Carlton.
Once complete, Amaala will feature more than 3,000 rooms across 30 hotels, all powered by 100% renewable energy and operating with a zero-carbon footprint.
