Qatar Airways to launch Tashkent service

Flights from Doha to the Uzbek capital will launch on 17 January 2022

Qatar Airways will add Tashkent in Uzbekistan to its global network next year.

The airline will operate twice weekly flights, with the first flight from Doha to Tashkent taking off on 17 January 2022, operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights will depart Doha on Mondays and Fridays on flight QR377 at 18:55 and arrive in Tashkent at 00:30. Return legs from Tashkent to Doha will operate on Tuesday and Saturdays on flight QR378, departing at 01:50 and arriving at 04:00. All times are local.

The two-class configuration will comprise 12 seats in business class and 120 seats in economy class.

Speaking about the new service, Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar Al Baker, said: “We see tremendous growth potential in Central Asia and this new service to Tashkent will serve to boost trade opportunities and attract tourists wanting to discover this beautiful destination. Passengers from Tashkent will now have access to more than 140 destinations when travelling with the World’s Best Airline via the World’s Best Airport, Hamad International Airport.”

Tashkent, is the largest city in Central Asia and will be Qatar Airways first route launch in 2022.
