President says company "well on way" to hitting 2027 financial targets early
Royal Caribbean Group has reported “stronger than expected” second-quarter results, leading to it increasing its guidance for the full year.
The cruise giant reported net income for the last quarter reached US$1.2 billion, compared to net income of US$0.9 billion for the same period last year.
Total revenues reached US$4.5 billion and adjusted Ebitda, a measure of a company’s profit, was US$1.9 billion.
Capacity in the second quarter was up 5.8% year on year as the group carried 2.3 million passengers, an increase of 10% year on year.
This performance has led Royal Caribbean Group to raise its full-year 2025 adjusted earnings per share (EPS) guidance from US$15.41 to US$15.55.

The main factors behind the performance were strong late demand, lower-than-expected spend due to timing and “continued favourability below the line”.
Royal Caribbean Group President Jason Liberty said: “Demand for our portfolio of brands and our industry-leading experiences continues to accelerate.
“Grounded in our mission to deliver the best vacations responsibly, we remain keenly focused on delivering exceptional value for our guests and shareholders - not just by executing today, but by staying ahead of where demand is going.”
He said the group was “well on our way” to achieving its financial targets for 2027 ahead of schedule.
Liberty added: “As we look beyond 2027, we see another step change in growth as we deepen our moat with a powerful pipeline of incredible new ships, the ramp-up of our highly differentiated new destinations and river cruising, and continued investments in disruptive technology, personalisation and loyalty.”
