The application now has an icon to represent those who have recently contracted Covid-19 and recovered
The Al Hosn app, the official Covid-19 testing channel for health authorities in the UAE, has announced an update for recently recovered Covid-19 cases in the UAE.
A new symbol for those who have recently recovered from Covid-19 after testing positive has been added to the app in the shape of a crossed-out syringe. The symbol appears automatically and indicates that the user is a recently recovered case.

People with the crossed-out syringe symbol on their app will have green status for 30 days and do not require PCR tests to maintain green status during that time.
After the first 30 days, a negative PCR test will be needed every 14 days to retain green status.
The crossed-out syringe symbol on the Al Hosn app also indicates that the user is exempt from vaccination requirements for 90 days. Once the 90-day period is over, a vaccine or a booster is required to maintain green status on the app.
