New morning service to start on 26 October
Air Arabia is set to launch a third daily flight between Sharjah and Bangkok starting October 26, 2025, in response to growing demand on the route.
This expansion will increase the carrier’s weekly flights to 21, representing a 50% boost in seat capacity between the two cities.
The new morning service will depart Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) at 07:40 landing in Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) at 4:55 local time. The return service will depart BKK at 5:55, arriving in SHJ at 9:55.
Adel Al Ali, Group CEO, Air Arabia, said: “We are glad to expand our service to Bangkok, which reaffirms our ongoing commitment to meeting customer demand and strengthening connectivity to key global markets.”

A perennial favourite for UAE travellers, Thailand is the fourth most popular outbound market for residents in the emirates, according to recent data from UAE-based online B2B travel booking platform RateHawk.
UAE citizens can travel visa-free for up to 90 days, with Thailand recently extending its eVisa scheme to allow easier online applications from UAE residents.
The average airfare of US$449 (AED1,650) makes Bangkok a well-rounded choice for an action-packed escape.
Operating flights from the three airports in the UAE, Air Arabia flies to more than 90 international destinations in 38 countries, with recent additions including new routes to Prague, Sochi, Krabi, Samara, Tbilisi and Almaty in Kazakhstan.
Air Arabia saw profits soar 34% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, with passenger numbers rising 11% to 4.9 million. This follows a record year for the UAE-based airline in 2024 as the airline added 31 new routes to its network.
