Radisson unveils new learning programme for Saudi nationals

The programme is aimed at “upskilling” Saudi nationals working in hospitality

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the launch of the Concierge Navigation to Success (NTS) programme.

The announcement took place at Park Inn by Radisson in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Tourism (MOT).

The Concierge Navigation to Success programme is part of Radisson group’s ongoing expansion strategy in the kingdom and further cements its intensive recruitment efforts in one of its key market feeders of the region.

Designed to “upskill” the concierge team at Radisson Hotels in Saudi Arabia, the NTS programme will equip the concierge agents with the tools and resources needed to grow in their career, tailor guests’ experiences and arm them with the knowledge required to be part of the Les Clef D’or community.

The programme includes classroom sessions on communications, guest relations, social media usage, and more, supplemented with online training programmes on theories and fundamentals.

NTS recruits will also experience cross exposure in one of the Radisson Hotels before attending a graduation ceremony on completion of the course

This initiative is aligned with the Saudi 2030 vision to raise the contribution of the tourism sector to the GDP to more than 10% and to provide one million additional job opportunities.

Commenting on the initiative, Princess Noura Al-Saud, Ministry of Tourism of Saudi Arabia Learning & Development Partnership manager, said: “We’re delighted to see international hotel groups focus on further development in the Kingdom in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.

“This only speaks to the group’s commitment to inspiring young adults and the new generations with tailored learning programmes to ensure career growth and the delivery of world-class services. The Human Capital Development Deputyship at the Ministry will always support such an initiative where it comes to develop and uplift the skills within the sector.”
